We do not want to close anyone, if we all implement the prescribed measures, WE DO NOT NEED ANYTHING ELSE

We all need to respect the mandatory measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus, but also those that are not binding and do not have legal force, such as wearing masks outdoors during each contact, because now they are equally important to preserve human lives, he says the immunologist Srdja Jankovic.

He said on TV Pink that if we allow the epidemic to spread, it will break out so much that some more drastic measures must then be introduced.

He thanked the majority of citizens for respecting the measures, and stated that the minority do not see the danger, and when something happens, such as the vertiginous increase in the number of patients, they simply ask if they will close us.

– That’s not the point. We don’t want to shut down anyone, we just want to prevent people from getting infected. Whatever crisis personnel continue to do will depend on the situation. If we all implemented the current measures, we would not need anything else, Janković said.

He said that Europe is in the grip of the autumn wave of the corona virus pandemic, which is also slowly starting in our country.

– It is up to all of us to make it as smooth as possible, as drastic as possible – says Janković, who is a member of the crisis staff.

He mentioned that the number of infected people will grow to the extent that we will not implement the measures consistently and rigorously now.

Correction of existing measures

Regarding the new measures presented yesterday by crisis staff, Janković said that those measures are only a correction to the already existing measures that are being implemented.

All of these measures, he says, can contribute to a moderate increase in bleaching.

– If it is at a level that does not endanger the health system and a large number of human lives, we will leave without serious consequences, otherwise, we see what is happening in other countries, there is the potential for the spread of the virus – he said Janković.

All preventive measures, he says, are always greeted with skepticism because people wonder what they will do to us when nothing happens.

– When it starts to happen, it is more difficult to prevent it. The measures should be introduced when we have the start of growth. It is easier to nip in the bud. This is no longer even a small start, but an increase, Janković said.

He emphasized that preventive measures must also be carried out by those who have undergone COVID-19, because it is not known how much they will be protected with respect to antibodies.

He stated that limiting the work of catering facilities to 11 p.m. has significant effects on preventing the spread of the corona virus.

He emphasizes that it is important to preserve the health system, because greater delays can be allowed in the interventions and control tests of patients suffering from diseases that have nothing to do with the coronavirus.

– The system cannot work if we convert all hospitals into kovid – said Janković and stated that this time Arena, which is a temporary kovid hospital, and similar places will play a more important role and that is why it is important to keep the number of patients in a low level.

He also highlighted the importance of vaccination against seasonal flu.

He stated that for now the measures that are being implemented in schools and colleges are working and that for now there is no reason for a complete transition to distance education.
