The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, said today, on the eve of the Crisis Staff session, that all measures in the fight against the coronavirus that can give results will be discussed and that the attitude is to tighten the measures in a balanced way, to act preventively.

Loncar told RTS this morning that before the session, which started around 9 a.m., he heard from some members of the crisis staff and they were of the opinion that we should not wait for the scenario to occur with a large number of patients.

“The attitude is to act preventively, seek a balance, tighten the measures, but be balanced and that we are sure it will work,” Loncar said.

Asked about what measures will be on the agenda, Loncar said that all measures that could yield results will be discussed.

“We want to act preventively, not react only when we have a serious capacity, overworked people, we go through that and we have no reason not to learn from our own and others’ examples that did not give good results. When we acted responsibly, we obtained a result, so I pray for unity and solidarity, “Lončar said.

He stated that these are not only crown patients, but also other patients who need to be treated, and who need to be considered too.
