“The numbers do not go down, entire families come to us and everything has intensified and is going unstoppable towards complications. We have almost 50 percent more patients at KC Nis compared to the previous week. We are rapidly filling our capacities, Infectious has no place anymore. And a large number of seriously ill patients who are overflowing from Vranje and Surdulica, who hardly have a place anymore towards Kruševac and Niš, “said Janković.
Yesterday, more than 200 newly infected people in Nis, which, he notes, is absolutely unacceptable.
“There are very well-known cafes around the Nis Fortress, we have to forget about cafes for the next two or three weeks to be able to experience all those happy moments again. If we continue like this, this will not be good,” Janković told RTS.
It adds that “unfortunately we have shown that we are stubborn.
“It is possible to become infected after the first dose of the vaccine with those types of vaccines where immunity is slower, as with ‘Sinofarm’. Something goes faster with other vaccines. The only magic key is mass vaccination, much more massive than this, and compliance with the measures. “Modern doctors and medicines cannot win the battle, only vaccination and much, much more respect for the measures,” says Janković.
He claims that he is not a member of the crisis staff and that there are doctors and politicians.
“I think it is absolutely unacceptable to create a social environment in a pandemic to agree that 20 to 30 people die every day. There is no alternative or economic modality, much less competing for an hour or so. This is not enough during the weekend, we are entering a serious problem, we will reduce the number of vaccinated with this number of infected, we will fill the hospitals again. I appeal to social empathy, ”Janković said.
According to him, what is happening is absolutely inadmissible.
