As Kurir learns, the “fica” car that caught fire in the center of Belgrade on Sunday, shortly before 10 pm, was driven by the recently injured Andrija Zaric (45), who has a criminal record and was allegedly close of the Vozdovac clan and the Pink Panthers.
Investigators are still running a background check on the attack, but the fire is believed to have started.

– “Fiat 500 abart” was parked on the street where Zaric lives with his partner. It is suspected that someone intentionally set the car on fire and that the fire then engulfed the vehicle parked next to it. Images from the surrounding security cameras, as well as other material evidence, will show how the fire broke out, the source says, adding that one of the recordings shows two young men walking around the “fish.”
– It is too early to rule out the possibility that the car caught fire on its own, but for now there are indications that it is a criminal act. A statement was taken from Zaric and his girlfriend, who sometimes drove a “fish,” added the interlocutor.

The jeep driven by the girl Andrija Zaric is in a relationship with, as our source says, was also targeted by arsonists. That is, in February this year, the “Range Rover” almost completely caught fire in Belgrade. “Then he said he didn’t know who, or why, would set his jeep on fire,” the source reminds Kurir.
Remember that Zaric was wounded on Dalmatinska Street on November 27. Later, an unknown assailant shot him in the leg and he was discharged for home treatment after the indicated help.
– We see him, he lives in a building with a girl. The car that burned on Sunday night was driven by Andrija, but not only by him. At the wheel we saw a woman, but also other men. Most likely he loaned it to his friends, says the neighbor.
As Kurir wrote, Zaric, in addition to having a criminal record, is also known for his relationship with former presenter Sana Armani, but also for robberies in Switzerland. Furthermore, he was allegedly friends with the late Nenad Grujović, named Crni Gruja, but also of Vladimir Jovanović, named Vlada Japanac.
Clan Voždovac
– He was also close to members of the once powerful Voždovac clan. In 2015, he was sentenced to five months in prison on charges of kidnapping and torture of Kacavenda’s godfather in 2005 with Vladan Kontić, Srdjan Kačavenda and Boško Rac, who were also linked to that criminal group. The motive for the torture, as it was written, was that the victim was courting Kacavenda’s wife – recalls the interlocutor and adds that in Switzerland, in addition to robbery, he was accused of several robberies with the famous Pink Panthers.
According to him, investigators believe that the former “pink panther” resented someone and that the shooting, but also the burning of the car, are a kind of warning.
