And in these new attempts to extinguish Srpska, there is even a “war option”.
Yesterday, during a private conversation lasting almost two hours, the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, openly warned President Vučić about these new and dramatic challenges that Serbia and Serbia face.
In this attack on Srpska, but also on Serbia, the Bosnian leader, Bakir Izetbegović, is once again at the forefront, who revived the old threats to seek a review of the verdict of the International Court of Justice on the demand of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Serbia for alleged genocide. The Croatian member of the Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, is also not far behind, requesting an extraordinary session with a proposal for Bosnia and Herzegovina to recognize the independence of Kosovo.
VARADI: THE REVIEW OF THE DEMAND IS NOT REAL
SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović’s request for a review of the International Court of Justice verdict on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s claim against Serbia for the alleged genocide is unrealistic and there is no procedural possibility, believes the professor of international law Tibor Varadi.
Varadi, who is also a former member of the Serbian legal team before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, told “Novosti” that there are at least three reasons for that:
– The first and strongest is that the review can be started no later than 10 years after the court decision, and it was done in February 2007. Second, to start the review, some new facts must be found, and it is really unlikely that In the dispute against Ratko Mladic something new emerged that would accuse Serbia. And third, the Court of The Hague is of the opinion that the review is not a continuation of the previous procedure, but the initiation of a new one, and for that, according to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the consent of the three members of the The presidency.
Professor Varadi also points out that the victims must be considered, but adds that the revision of the verdict in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s lawsuit against Serbia is not the path that leads to justice and reconciliation.
Dodik told the Serbian head of state that Izetbegović was persistently trying to keep Bosnians and Serbs caught up in the subject of constant mutual conflicts and openly warned:
– Bosnia and Herzegovina also has the “option of war” and I, as a man representing the Serbs of Srpska, must constantly inform President Vučić and relevant international factors in this regard. They think they are the favorites of the international community and of NATO, and they were, but we also contributed a little to that, because somehow we retired, while now we have a clear position on it – said Dodik after the meeting with Vučić.
He explained that in Sarajevo, with stories about a new genocide lawsuit, they also want to eliminate Serbia:
– Srpska is a thorn in the side of Bosnia and Herzegovina and, in the Sarajevo meetings, hatred is felt towards both Serbia and RS. Bosnia and Herzegovina is trying to eliminate Serbia as a key partner of RS, so that Belgrade cannot help the Serbs through the Drina. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, they would be delighted if there was no Srpska, but they cannot see Serbia with their own eyes. On the other hand, they want to arm themselves enough and try to solve the problem militarily.
Dodik pointed out that, of course, that is not possible, as there would be no legitimacy for any commitment of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because for this a decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is necessary:
– The police of one entity, according to “Dayton”, cannot enter the territory of another entity without consent. If anyone wants to solve the problems in that way, then they should know that an illegitimate intrusion into RS territory would certainly legitimize the right of Serbia to be there, as a guarantor of “Dayton”.
For Dodik, there is no doubt that President Vučić did a good job for Serbia in Washington, but also in the meetings that followed in Brussels. However, there are no excessive expectations when it comes to good intentions from international factors, mainly from the EU. He also noted that it is a good thing that Komsic has requested that the question of recognition of Kosovo’s independence be on the agenda of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because that will lead to a decision that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not recognize Kosovo.
WE KEEP FRIENDSHIP WITH CHINA
PRESIDENT Vučić also met yesterday with Chinese Ambassador Chen Bo, to whom he conveyed that Serbia will maintain sincere friendship with Beijing and continue to develop bilateral cooperation in all areas, including the field of telecommunications. Vučić sent greetings to President Xi and expressed his gratitude for China’s political support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia. Ambassador Chen noted that China’s position towards the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo is firm and immutable, and that her country will continue to provide international support to Serbia on that issue.
TAXATION AND OTHERS AS A NEIGHBOR
SDA LEADER, Bakir Izetbegović, not only “hit” the Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also the Croats. He announced that the Bosnians would impose political representatives on the Croats at other levels in the upcoming elections, along with Zeljko Komsic, which various Croatian officials characterized as a “coup and aggression against the Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
– It is now clear that SDA and Izetbegović openly express their commitment to the policy of disintegration of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a community of three equal peoples, announced the Club of Envoys of the Croatian People in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
