Vulin: The police will put special emphasis on the fight against street crime

Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin said during his visit to the Police Administration in Novi Sad that the police are always at the service of citizens and will put particular emphasis on the fight against street crime and drug traffickers, announced the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia.

“We have great support from the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, the government, the mayor of Novi Sad. So I am sure that Novi Sad will be much safer, although we are already feeling progress compared to the previous time,” he said. Vulin.

The mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, said he was very satisfied with the meeting with Vulin, in which they discussed what else the police can do in the territory of Novi Sad and the administrative district of Južnobački, to make citizens feel more insurance.

The statement indicates that Vulin also visited the Bac Police Station, where he held a collegiate meeting with the Head of the Novi Sad Police Administration, Slobodan Malesic, and all the heads of police stations and branches of this police administration.

The college analyzed the results of the Novi Sad Police Administration so far and discussed the activities to be carried out.

“The priority of the work of the police must be the safety of citizens and the clarification of the criminal facts of general crime,” said Vulin, adding that he expects the full commitment of the police in the fight against organized crime, the corruption and drug trafficking.

At the college, which was also attended by the director of the police, Vladimir Rebić, the problems faced by police officers in their work were presented, and Vulin emphasized that the Ministry of the Interior will continue to invest in improving working conditions.
