Vui hopes that one of them will be completed next year. “It’s a 31km section between aka and Poege,” Vui told a New Year’s conference in Belgrade.

He recalled that the construction of the bridge over the Sava has begun, that works are being carried out in three places between Lajkovac and Valjevo.

“We expect a major German investor to invest in Valjevo,” he said, explaining why it is important to build roads.

We also have the Kuzmin-Sremska Raa highway, he added, stating that “Serbia is completing the full bridge over the Sava.”

Vui also said that he expected the Belgrade-Novi Sad railway to be completed by the beginning of the year.

“That we can go by train at 200 per hour at the beginning of March at the latest,” he said.

He also said that the construction of Balkan Stream was being completed. “We have to make a secondary network to Valjevo and Vranje. We have to do that to attract additional investors.” Vui also said that the construction of a sewerage network is expected and that a large number of municipalities will have sewers for the treatment of wastewater. The biggest challenge, he says, is Kragujevac, where there are around 650 kilometers of pipelines.
