The trial stems from Aleksi’s accusations regarding the Jovanjic case, which have meanwhile been challenged by deliberation.

Andrej Vui sued Aleksi in a civil proceeding for violation of honor and reputation, because Aleksi repeatedly said in public that he had information that the owner of the agricultural estate “Jovanjica” Predrag Koluvija, before his arrest in November 2019, called to Andrej Vui by phone. brother of the president of Serbia.

At today’s trial, the defendant Aleksi was questioned about the accusations he made and the judge excluded Vui’s lawyer, Vladimir Djukanovic, from most of the questions he wanted to ask him.

For the second time, as at the beginning of the trial in May, Aleksi’s lawyer, Borivoje Borovi, requested the judge’s disqualification, claiming that he had not accepted his arguments during Aleksi’s testimony.

Andrej Vui’s lawyer said after the trial that Aleksi continues to carry out “Nazi propaganda” against the family of the state president, Aleksandar Vui, on behalf of certain tycoons, criminal circles and certain state structures.

“They did not offer any proof for their claims in today’s trial, so it is clear as the day that Alexi blatantly lied that Coluvia called Andrej Vui. “I guess the point is that there is constant criminalization and dehumanization of the president’s family,” Djukanovi told Tanjug.

He recalled that they had previously claimed that his client was the owner of the restaurant Fran, so it was established that he was not, so, as he claimed, they invented that there was a lot of land in Srem, then Jovanjica, so he owned bakery “Hleb i kifle”. “…

“We no longer know that they made everything up as well as in this trial regarding the allegations against Jovanjica,” Vuie’s lawyer said, noting that today Aleksi and his lawyer were, as he puts it, an intimidating pressure on the judge.

“The judge even denied us questions, which would show that Aleksi is involved in cooperation with certain criminal structures, who are doing all this to destabilize the state and the president of the state, but that is the right of the judge,” Djukanovi said, expressing his hope that the judge won’t succumb to pressure from a group of people around Alexi.

He hopes that the court will rule in his client’s favor and that Alexi will have to pay him considerable damages.

“And if he doesn’t pay, let Djilas pay him or those who forced him to do all of this. I especially emphasize that this is a serious interest of criminal mogul structures with certain state structures to do this,” Djukanovi said.

The trial of Koluvija and nine other defendants began today before the Belgrade Special Court, precisely because of the accusation that they grew marijuana on the “Jovanjica” farm in Stara Pazova under difficult conditions for its subsequent sale and acquisition of property.

By hanging up his phones, it was determined that he did not call Andrej Vui before the arrest, as claimed by the opposition, announced this winter by the Tuilatvo for organized crime, which is carrying out a process against Koluvija.
