“The devastating economic consequences of the global recession must be addressed by mobilizing greater, faster and more flexible support through international financial institutions,” stressed Vui.
According to him, Serbia pays special attention to the goals related to poverty eradication, economic development and employment, infrastructure construction and industrialization, ensuring healthy lives at all ages, free and quality primary and secondary education. for all, with a special focus on gender equality.
“I am proud to note that the Serbian people voted in favor of a parliament in which both sexes are equally represented. This and that, a modern Serbian parliament, has supported the government he leads for the second time,” Vui said.
He added that efficient and productive multilateralism is necessary, but also achievable if the readiness for a common commitment is demonstrated in a spirit of dialogue, cooperation and compromise.
“We have been cooperating intensively with countries around the world, as well as with our region, in terms of providing humanitarian and medical assistance, but also the regular supply of goods during the kovida 19 pandemic,” Vui recalled.
The President noted that Serbia is also facing problems in the fight against this contagious disease, which has caused tectonic disturbances around the world, that it received help from friendly countries when we needed it most, and thanked them once again.

In this context, he noted that Serbia joins the call of the UN Secretary General for a global ceasefire.
Wui emphasized that Serbia values freedom, equality and peace above all throughout its duration, and that none of these traditional criteria is possible without a strong UN and strict adherence to the Fundamental Charter.
