Vui, as a guest on TV Vijesti from Podgorica, once again expressed his condolences to the Serbian Orthodox Church and the people of Montenegro. “I express my condolences for the death of Metropolitan Amfilohije,” he added.

“He was certainly a significant figure, a great and important figure both in the Serbian people and in Montenegro,” Vui said.

He said that he was not vain and that he met Amfilohije several times, even after criticizing him.

“I do not belong to the vain people who should be guided by whoever spoke about him, and that is exactly why I met the metropolitan several times, even after all the words he spoke,” Vui said.

“During our meetings, he told me that he understood the problems he was facing as president of Serbia, and he wanted to show such a man a trip and give him recognition,” said the Serbian president.

Vui said the best response to the treason allegations is that 18 countries have withdrawn recognition of Kosovo and Metohija since he took power.

Serbia will be the first in Europe in terms of growth rate, says Vui.

About the last meeting with the metropolitan

He stated that his last meeting with Amfilohije on September 24 was excellent. As he adds, the Metropolitan of Budva-Nikiki Joanikije was also present.

“Amfilohije said then that he only now understands how many problems I am facing as president and that he better understands what state affairs are and how difficult they are to handle,” Vui said.

“It’s not me, I’m not an American ambassador”

It points out that it does not interfere in the formation of the government in Montenegro. “I am not an American ambassador,” he said.

Vui said that he would cooperate with Zdravko Krivokapi and that he would travel to Montenegrin President Milo Ukanovic.

He noted that the accusations made by Krivokapi and his advisers made no sense.

Vui says that he has no ambition to control neither Krivokapia nor the Democratic Front, not to mention his closeness to the government and that different points of view on the position of the Serbian people in Montenegro were openly discussed.

He claimed that he believes Krivokapi was informed by the tabloids about the Belgrade on Water project, but that he got over that.

He says the joint photo with Ukanov and Mohamed Dahlan does not prove anything.

Vui noted that he was accused of two different gender policies in Montenegro and that this indicated that one could not be true without respecting the independence of Montenegro.

As he says, he believes that Montenegro is stronger and Serbia will be stronger.

“Whenever I ask for some evidence in Montenegro and Serbia, there is no such evidence. I am not in business, I am not a millionaire, I did not steal or destroy … millions of euros from the citizens of Serbia,” says the President of Serbia.

Vui claims that Andrija Mandi and Milan Kneevi are not mentioned anywhere in the Serbian security services documentation in the case of a “coup”, but that some other external factors are mentioned.

Vui on median salary and public debt: Serbia has overtaken Montenegro, we will open factories in the north

“Serbia today surpassed Montenegro in terms of average salary and has a lower public debt than Montenegro. A strong Serbia does not suit anyone,” says Vui.

He said that he was proud to give a significant amount of money to Serbian organizations in Montenegro for the preservation of the Serbian alphabet and language, but that he also helped Montenegrins.

He noted that he introduced the Montenegrin minority party to the local Mali Io government.

Vui claims that millions of euros are not a lot of money for Serbia and that it will continue to invest and “help its people”.

He added that there is no possibility of Serbia taking over Montenegro’s debt from the China highway.

He announced the opening of factories in northern Montenegro and the employment of hundreds of people in larger cities such as Bijelo Polje and Berane.

He says that he entered the “mini engen” initiative passionately because he believes the countries of the region can help each other more.

When asked if he considers himself the president of all Serbs and if he thinks that Montenegro should be part of the “Serbian world”, Vui said that he is the president of Serbia and that he is very proud of that fact and does not know what the different mean terms.
