“We did not participate (in military exercises) due to pressure (from the European Union) that became so strong at one point that we had to make a decision to preserve military neutrality,” the Serbian president said in an online interview with TASS Deputy Director Mikhail Gusman.
Should Serbia participate in the exercises of the Slavic Brotherhood?
He added that he hopes that when the political moment is better, Serbia will participate in the exercises with Russia and Belarus, but also with Western partners.
“We expect this possibility to open in about five months,” Vucic added.
Serbia has decided not to participate in any military action for six months, not even with the NATO pact, although it is planned to take place on Serbian territory, writes TAS, referring to the words of the President of Serbia.

“Our main strength is to maintain military neutrality and our freedom. Therefore, the decision is valid for all parties,” Vucic explained.
Russian President Vladimir Putin well understands the seriousness of the situation and Serbia’s desire to remain in an independent position with respect, Vucic added.
“I am very grateful to him for that. Therefore, thanks to his understanding and knowledge of the political situation, our relations are developing very well,” said the President of Serbia.
