The Chairman of the Serbian Progressive Party, Aleksandar Vučić, said today that the signing of the agreement on the German-American vaccine is expected in the next two to three days.
Photo: BETAPHOTO / MILOS MISKOV / MOSerbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that by March, Serbia will receive 350,000 doses of the US-German vaccine “Pfizer and Birth”, and that this will be enough to cover the health system and most of the police and the army.
After the Serbian Progressive Party presidency session, Vučić told reporters that he would try to get Serbia to obtain vaccines for the most threatened citizens before the new year.
“I will receive the first vaccine that arrives in Serbia, Ana will receive it from the second, another will receive from the third,” said Vucic and explained that they will receive the vaccine to show citizens that it is important to receive the vaccine and that it is good.
He added that the vaccine will be free.
Vučić, who is also the president of Serbia, added that health authorities are expected to make a decision on the presence of other vaccines on the market.
He said that there will be about 600 crowns infected with the virus in Serbia today and that the number of people hospitalized is increasing, noting that the health costs are “enormous”.
Vučić pointed out that Serbia cannot stop the economy now.
