We will see if it will be me, Ana Brnabić or Darija Kisić Tepavčević, Vučić told reporters at Golubinci.

The vaccine saved humanity, Vučić added, explaining that two doses for human vaccination will be reserved immediately.

We are part of the Covax system, we paid four million dollars a long time ago and we expect a significant portion of vaccines, but we managed to buy as many vaccines as we can, Vučić said, adding that these doses of the Pfizer vaccine were obtained independently, bilaterally.

I think that from mid-January we can opt for a more massive vaccination, around hundreds of thousands of people, Vučić said.

“I am confident in the EU and Commissioner Oliver Varhelji that they will distribute significant quantities of the vaccine to us and that we will not wait months after the EU members,” said Vučić.

Vučić added that the politicians who run the country have an obligation to provide a vaccine to their fellow citizens, as was the case with respirators.

Vučić said that the President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, was at the Banja Luka hospital, and that the team of doctors led by Goran Stevanović was there on Tuesday.

Dodik’s condition is not ideal, as we would like, but it is not terrible either, Vučić said, noting that he is not a doctor to do evaluations.

If necessary, we are ready to transfer it to Belgrade, he said.

When asked about the arrest of Darko Elez and the fight against organized crime, Vučić added that when it comes to big criminal clans, the state will do its job and ensure that Serbia is a safe country for its citizens.

We also talked about the illegal tobacco trade here, Vučić said, adding that he was grateful to Japan Tobacco International (JTI).

We have always had great cooperation with them, they have always worked in the best way to expand the network of tobacco producers. They are now cooperating with 250 farms and have exceeded 50 percent of the total number, Vučić said.

We recently laid the first stone for the Tojo Tires factory, Vučić recalled, announcing that one of the most important investments of the Japanese company will also soon take place in Novi Sad.

Where the Japanese are, there is responsibility, stability, seriousness of investors, Vučić said, emphasizing that JTI is one of the companies that contributes the most to payments in the budget.

Vučić visited the agricultural estate of Dejan Matić, a tobacco grower from Golubinac in Srem, who, with the help of Japan Tobacco International, managed to invest money in tobacco production and drying.

I am in awe of their diligence, tobacco is hard work, there is no easy income, it is decent, but there is a lot to do, said Vučić.

Vučić wished all believers who celebrate Christmas on the Gregorian calendar a happy Christmas Eve tomorrow and then Christmas with the wish to spend the holidays with joy and happiness with their families.
