While visiting the construction site, Vučić greeted the workers and asked that the kovid part be completed by December 1. During the visit, the president was told that 80 workers were infected and wished the sick a speedy recovery.

Addressing the press after visiting the construction site, President Vučić said that, as a citizen of Serbia, he was proud of the fact that the magnificent hospital was built in 4 months. He congratulated the workers, the citizens and the state that managed to pay for this installation while the whole world is in a crisis caused by the corona virus.
– I’m proud of the fact that we’re done. I want to congratulate everyone. We are waiting like the freezing sun to open at least part of the hospital. In seven days we will open the Kovid section with 200 intensive care beds, which will mean a lot to us. After the virus appears, we will also use this hospital for other purposes. We will allocate between 6 and 7 billion for the construction of hospitals. We managed to pay for the construction of the hospital with our own funds – said the president.
We test 30,000 a day
Vučić pointed out that it is important to reduce the mortality rate and that it is clear that the situation is difficult, when we have 6,500 people in hospitals. The last option, he says, is orthopedics.
– If a freezing rain falls, I don’t know what we will do with the open fractures. I ask people to call the doctor on time, because it is often fatal when people call late – says Vučić.
The president said that we had the most testing so far today and that massive testing is a salvation.
– We will try to go 25,000, 30,000 tested per day. Salvation is only in mass tests and vaccines, says Vučić, adding:
– Early detection is very important and mass testing is of the essence. The other thing is the vaccine. We will try to provide the first significant amounts of vaccines next month. We talk to all countries, we are part of the Kovac industry and, if they acquire, we do not ask how much it costs – says Vučić, adding that he is still talking to the Chinese, Russians, British …
He says he will do everything he can to provide a million doses before the end of the year and that the pressure on the healthcare system is incredible.

The state will make every effort to provide vaccinations
Vučić said that the state would do its best to provide vaccines mainly for health workers, soldiers, community service workers, mining mines and the like. Krusevac hospital, he says, will be ready on December 15.
– We are the only ones in Europe who have managed to build this or that hospital in such a short time. It will be bigger than KBC Dragisa Misovic, it will be by far the biggest hospital – says Vucic.
About Irinej’s funeral
When it comes to the prosecutor’s request to start a process against the Serbian church, he says that everyone has the right to do whatever they want, but the question is whether it is moral.
– At the patriarch’s funeral, I tried to wear a mask all the time and thus be an example to others. It is interesting to me that those who occupied the Assembly spoke about it, shouted, gathered without masks, warned not to do that, and said that we were talking nonsense and that the crown was not a disease – says Vučić.
He points out that these are people who did not like the fact that someone told them they were thieves and called for demonstrations in the middle of the curfew.
– And today they are telling us how to behave – says Vučić. He adds that the law should be the same for everyone and that prosecutors know their work.

The president affirmed that everything that was in the power of the state was done. Both hospitals, he says, will have 420 high-flow respirators, which are non-invasive.
– In one day we consume oxygen as in a month under normal conditions. It is almost unbearable. We pay a high price for the death toll and we are among the least unsuccessful in all of Europe, including in the region, says Vučić.
Vučić affirmed that water supply, sewerage, parking, access road were made, all to facilitate the operation of the future hospital.
When asked by journalists who will be treated at this hospital, Vučić says that those with moderate and severe clinical conditions will be treated. 1,500 doctors will work in the Zemun hospital and 900 in Krusevac.
About measures in schools
When it comes to respecting the measures in schools, Vučić called on teachers and principals to act responsibly.

About the alleged mass grave in Raska
Regarding the alleged mass grave near Raska, which is allegedly home to Kosovo Albanians, Vučić says that all crimes must be held accountable.

We asked and prayed that they do excavations in 5 places where we believe Serbs are buried, and we ask that the km be there as well.
