The Freedom and Justice Party published on its Twitter account a video in which the current president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in 2009 criticized then-president Boris Tadić, who spoke at the funeral of Patriarch Pavle.
Vučić, who spoke at Patriarch Irinej’s funeral today, criticized the former president’s speech at Patriarch Pavle’s funeral on the State of the Nation show on B92, noting that Tadić had no place to request a live broadcast and participate in removal of the coffin.
– There was no place in the Synod session, no place to speak after the Ecumenical Patriarch. He was supposed to be there, I don’t deny it, it was his obligation, but not to give a speech, just as he had no place to give a speech at the Synod, Aleksandar Vučić said in 2009, the day after the funeral. on The State of the Nation on B92, in which he was a guest with then-DS official Jelena Trivan.
On the show, Vučić criticized RTS, which turned on the cameras at the time of Tadić’s speech, disrupting the match.
