At tonight’s press conference, when asked if he was concerned about the numbers and the increase in crowns infected with the virus in the country, he answered affirmatively.
– I’m worried, I’m very worried. We are working fast, we are negotiating to get vaccines, with everyone in the West, with the Germans, the Americans, the English, the Russians, the Chinese … Without the vaccine, we cannot solve that. It will destroy our economy, it will literally eat us – he estimated.
Referring to today’s data regarding the changes of the last 24 hours, he further said that at this rate, the crown threatens to fill hospitals in the near future.
– When you look at today’s numbers, 84 were hospitalized, 40 were discharged, so today alone we have 45 new beds occupied. Unfortunately, those numbers will increase.
When you have a hundred new beds occupied daily, we are full in 20 days. Fortunately, new hospitals are arriving, but if we have two and three thousand more, 1,200 more than the Croats, it is a horror.
Vučić also commented how he was unpleasantly surprised when he saw how many people are against vaccines.
