Responding to journalists’ question about the opposition protests over the construction of the Jadarite mine near Loznica, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić expressed surprise that, as he said, these people are protesting against the decisions they made while they were in power, and then he mentioned Speaker Ivica. Dacic, and a few moments later, everyone in the Serbian Palace hall began to laugh.

– Imagine that in five years I come to Belgrade on the water and I protest against Belgrade on the water? You would put me in a madhouse. And you, seriously dead, are reporting those protests to people who are protesting against themselves, as if they forgot they made those decisions. Not me, not us, but them. Well, maybe Ivica was there, because she was in all the governments. Man has never objected. And now you will tell me that you were there for two years, from 2000 to 2002 – said Vučić.

At that moment, Dacic, who had not spoken until then, spoke.

– Well, I was and I saw that it was not well – Dačić joked, to which everyone present laughed.

Vučić laughed and then praised Dačić.

“He has always been charming,” said the President of Serbia.
