Vučić announced a large inflow of money for all citizens of Serbia, but also completely unexpected news.

On the eve of the New Year, Vučić will speak on topics of the greatest importance to the state.

Children and holidays

At the beginning of the show, Vučić talked about his children and the holidays.

– Danilo grew up. He realized that he had to fight only for life. He knows that he is also the target of those who attack me. I am happy because he managed to understand many things. Milica is already the girlfriend of a great dad – said Vučić and added:

– It is not common in my family to talk a lot about emotions. I am proud of Milica, who is fluent in Russian, German and English and is learning three more languages.

Vučić joked about his daughter Milica, as the father in the movie “We are not angels.”

Vučić says that Vukan likes toy helicopters better.

– Got some tanks, so he heard helicopters kill tanks. Since then, I can’t separate it from the helicopter. I bought him several of those toys – says Vučić.

The president expressed hope that Vukan will learn Chinese when he grows up.

– The Chinese language will be much more represented in the future. We have to follow the events of the world. People should learn their whole lives – says Vučić.

Dinar exchange rate

Vučić says that the dinar exchange rate has been stable for years and claims that people are used to it.

– Many do not know how much effort it takes to maintain that – says Vučić.

Gas pipe

The president announced that on the morning of January 1 a gas pipeline would open through Serbia.

– At 6 in the morning the commercial contract starts and the gas is released. We will get this fuel at a price of 115 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters. I openly told both the Americans and the Russians that we would take the gas whose price suited us best. We don’t want $ 600 in America, but this one because it’s cheaper. We will also receive taxes from the trnazite, so the benefit is exceptional, says Vučić.

Increase in salaries and pensions

Vučić announced that salaries and pensions will be increased from tomorrow.

– As of tomorrow, the minimum is more than 32,000 dinars, increased by 6 percent. Pensions are 5.9 percent higher. Salaries for medical workers by 5 percent, for others by 3.5 percent and since April for them by 5 percent. For the army, we will opt for an additional 10 percent, says Vučić.

The president announced that a further increase in wages and pensions will be possible at the end of 2021, if Serbia achieves economic growth of 5%.

Vučić says there will be more surprises for retirees next year.

– I think that by the end of next year we will be able to ensure that average salaries are higher than 570 euros and pensions higher than 270 euros – says Vučić and adds:

– We ended this year with a state public debt of 56.8 percent and a consolidated 57.8 percent. I would like to thank Ana Brnabić and Siniša Mali for the exceptional management of our finances.

Vaccinations

The President of Serbia notes that the approved Chinese vaccine is exceptional news for Serbia.

– Sinofarm’s coronavirus vaccine was approved in China last night. I hope we have it soon in Serbia. We will have four types of vaccines – says Vučić.

He thanked the doctors and medical workers fighting the corona virus and noted that the state reacted well during the pandemic.

– All vaccines are good. My mother said she wanted one from the West and my father only wanted Russian. People have different opinions, but all vaccines are of good quality. It is important that we save lives – says Vučić.
