– On this occasion, President Vučić and President Putin exchanged views on the situation in the Balkans and discussed current issues of the Serbian-Russian strategic partnership, including the development of dialogue at the highest level. The two interlocutors confirmed that Serbia and Russia are sincere friends, whose cooperation is based on mutual trust, is stated in President Vučić’s announcement on Instagram.
President Vučić emphasized that Serbia is a militarily neutral country, and President Putin welcomed Serbia’s strong commitment.
– Regardless of the weight and complexity of its geopolitical, military, security and economic position, Serbia will protect the principles of military neutrality and will remain a true and correct partner of the Russian Federation – stressed President Vučić.
President Vučić expressed his gratitude to President Putin for Russia’s unwavering support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as for his efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation will provide political support to Serbia in its efforts to preserve its territorial integrity and coordinate its foreign policy actions with Serbia, all with the aim of protecting international public order.
President Vučić and President Putin pointed out that the economic ties between Serbia and Russia are constantly strengthening, but that the opportunities for cooperation in the field of economics are much greater than those used, so there is room for new joint projects.
