A total of 32,228 confirmed cases of kovid 19 were registered in the Republic of Serbia at 3 pm on September 11, 2020. Since the last report, samples from 9,507 people have been tested, of which 92 are positive. One person died in the last 24 hours.
A total of 1,018,908 people who met the criteria for defining a case were tested for coronavirus at 3pm in the Republic of Serbia.
There are currently 33 patients on ventilators, 45 of them were hospitalized and 49 people were discharged.
The total number of deaths is 730.
At the crisis headquarters press conference, Predrag Kon and Verica Jovanović addressed journalists.

– It should be noted that there is no relaxation, especially for those who are in Belgrade. Kragujevac and Presevo are concerned, where the number of infected has increased. Schools are an epidemiological risk. It is noted that less protection is used and meetings are planned, so we have to prevent behaviors that allow the virus to be transmitted – said Dr. Kon and evaluated that the situation is still uncertain.
– You want us to be clairvoyant, there will be a crisis headquarters again on Monday, so we will say if those who come from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be quarantined. The opening of the borders depends on political reasons, it does not depend on us – said Predrag Kon, responding to the journalist Tanjug when asked if there will be quarantine for all those who come from abroad, especially from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dr. Jovanović pointed out that the corona virus is not part of our past.
– Viruses are here with us, we continue to spread and transmit them in various ways and with the return of our citizens from abroad, and also in daily gatherings, in some personal family celebrations, and therefore if we want to stop the virus in our population. there, we have to stop the transmission of that virus between people, because it only lives in living organisms and the human population, so it depends on us – explained Verija Jovanović.
Dr. Predrag Kon said it is almost impossible to wait for the vaccine, which may be in mass use next year, and not soon.
– Nobody knows when there will be vaccinations. It’s common for vaccine testing to come under great public scrutiny, Kon said.
