Members of the Service for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia seized 19.5 kilograms of amphetamines and some 2,150 MDMA tablets and arrested six people suspected of trafficking in narcotic drugs, mainly synthetic drugs, as members of an organized criminal group .

By order of the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, SN (26) was arrested, suspected of being the organizer of this criminal group, LB (28), AM (31), NB (37), NF (24) and MO (31), it was announced. today from the MUP.

They are suspected of having long been dealing with the resale of various types of narcotics, mainly synthetic narcotics, amphetamines and MDMA, on the territory of Belgrade.

It is also suspected that they organized a network of street vendors who resell drugs in smaller quantities for the needs of the criminal group, on the orders of NS, while high-ranking members of the group led by the organizer resell larger quantities of amphetamines and MDMA to buyers in Belgrade.

The detainees are charged with the crimes of association for the purpose of committing crimes, unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics and illegal possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosives.

In several separate actions aimed at unmasking this criminal group, the police seized about 19.5 kilograms of amphetamines, about 2,150 MDMA tablets, a small amount of cocaine, about 600 grams of marijuana and a pistol with fifty bullets.

The suspects will be detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal complaint.
