Deputy Mayor Goran Vesić said that the city of Belgrade sold construction land in public ownership for 585 million dinars in two public tenders and emphasized that Belgrade remains interesting for investment despite the crisis caused by the kovida-19 epidemic.

Vesić says that companies that buy construction land invest in Belgrade because they build apartments, production plants or logistics centers on that land.

A 3.1 hectare piece of land in the “Auto-put” Economic Zone in New Belgrade was sold to an investor at a price of 266,713,857.80 dinars. On the ground, the construction of facilities for economic activities is planned.

The second location, with an area of ​​1.9 hectares near the “Lakat krivina” intersection in the vicinity of the road to Novi Sad, was sold at a starting price of 319,095,397.98 dinars. The land is intended for the construction of commercial facilities.

The deputy mayor says the value of the construction land on the public property of the Belgrade City Council, which has been disposed of, amounts to 43 million euros since the beginning of the year.

In 11 public bidding procedures, 15.33 hectares of construction land were sold, and the City budget will have additional income from contributions to organize construction land, which is calculated for investors in the procedure of obtaining a construction permit. construction, Vesić said.
