Belgrade Deputy Mayor Goran Vesić stated that the introduction of quarantine or a driving ban in the capital is not planned due to the kovid-19 epidemic.

“I tell you responsibly that no new measures are planned at this time, such as the introduction of quarantine or curfew in Belgrade. It is enough to respect the existing measures, wear masks inside, maintain social distance and no public gatherings, not to hold parties and celebrations not just after 11pm but even earlier, ”Vesić said on the morning TV show Happy.

If we respect all current measures, we will be able to remain among the European countries with the least infected, Vesić said, stating that the economy must function and jobs must be preserved, kindergartens and schools must function.

“We have to learn to live with the crown. Public health must be preserved and that is why the measures are respected, but life must take its course,” Vesić said.
