The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Berislav Vekić, stated that the situation in the Kovid hospitals in Serbia is extremely difficult, but that the health system has shown exceptional flexibility. He added that the operational team of the Ministry of Health has a clear vision of where there are places and that the distribution is carried out properly.

During the night, we transport more than 20 patients to the hospital’s temporary chair, where we provide the right conditions for patients who need oxygen support, he said. He added that the distribution of patients in Sokobanja and Merkur in Vrnjačka Banja continues, as well as that a special hospital “Agents and anemia” is planned to open in Ivanjica from Monday for kovid patients. “The Zajecar system and Pirot General Hospital will start operating on Monday,” Vekić told TV Prva.

“Our goal is to provide a bed for everyone who needs it, whether in Belgrade or somewhere nearby, it doesn’t matter,” Secretary of State Mirsad Djerlek said. He says that there are citizens who are not aware of how vicious and deadly Kovid 19 is. We will ask people to avoid any contact where infection may occur, we will continue with mass tests, and we wait for vaccines with which we will increase the percentage of immunity collective, because that’s the only way to seriously oppose the coronavirus, says Djerlek.
