Two people were injured in a road accident on Sunday near the village of Bresnica, not far from Vranje. The Vranje Police Department announced that the accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m.
The accident occurred when the driver of the “Audi” with the Vranje license plate, which was traveling from Vranje towards Vranjska Banja, ran off the road for unknown reasons and hit a protective fence alongside the road near the town of Bresnica.
On that occasion, the passengers of the passenger car “Audi” were injured. A young man (18) from Vranjska Banja, one of the passengers in the vehicle, suffered serious bodily injuries. He received medical assistance at the Vranje Health Center, from where he was transferred to the KC in Nis.
Another 17-year-old passenger of the “Audi” was slightly injured.
The investigation was carried out by members of the traffic police on the order of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Vranje Prosecutor General’s Office.
In the area of the Police Administration in Vranje, from November 27 to 29 this year, six traffic accidents were recorded. One person suffered serious bodily injury and three people were slightly injured.
Four people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
