Anesthesiologist Nenad Maksimović passed away today as a result of the corona virus at the age of 37. Dr. Maksimović worked at KCS and, during the epidemic, he helped KBC “Dr. Dragiša Mišović”.
After becoming infected, they hooked him up to a respirator, and in the end, unfortunately, he lost the fight against the vicious virus.
Medical technician Marko Bjelica (41), who worked in KBC’s red zone “Bežanijska kosa” and treated patients with the corona virus, passed away the day before yesterday after several days of fighting this vicious virus.
Bjelica treated the sick for the past year, he was one of the heroes in this hospital, but in the end he got infected himself.
– He was a worker, but also a man for example. He made a great effort to treat the sick, but also to help all the colleagues who worked with him. Unfortunately, he did not last, he was treated for a long time and in intensive care, and he did not succeed, said Marko’s colleague from the red zone, Slobodan Klašnja.
