As “Novosti” has learned, they have entered into a contract with a company in their country, “Temas”, which will invest 10.5 million euros over the next four years in exchange for half the property. According to a preliminary feasibility study, this mine could be in operation for 21 years.

During that period, 11 million tons of boron could be obtained from here, which is used in space technology and industry for the production of mobile phones. The company “Temas” is also looking for rare elements such as titanium and vanadium.

“Erin” entered the drilling program near Baljevac in the Ibar after multinational “Rio Tinto” renounced the concession in that area.

By the way, “Rio Tinto”, together with the Turkish state company “Eti Maden”, controls up to 80 percent of the world pine production. Most of the pine reserves, up to 75%, are in Turkey.

The discovery of the Canadian “Erin” now places Serbia among the countries with large reserves of this mineral.
