Toncev and Ruzic are MSF ministers in the new government – Politika

The current Minister of State Administration and Local Autonomy, Branko Ruzic, will be the Minister of Education in the new government, while Novica Toncev will be the minister without portfolio, the Socialist Party of Serbia announced tonight.

As stated in the statement, the SPS expressed its satisfaction with the agreement reached with the President of the Republic of Serbia and the President of the SNS, Aleksandar Vučić, on strategic cooperation and partnership in the coming period.

– We are proud of the results of our cooperation in the past eight years to protect our national and state interests, strengthen the country’s foreign policy position, and economic prosperity and progress. We express our readiness to give our full contribution to the realization of the six key objectives defined by the President of the Republic of Serbia and the SNS, Aleksandar Vučić, said SPS Vice President Đordje Milićević.

In addition to Ruzic and Toncev, the SPS also announced that the secretary general of the National Assembly, Veljko Odalovic, a member of the SPS presidency, will be from their party.

As added, SPS Vice Presidents Aleksandar Antic and Slavica Djukic Dejanovic will occupy other important positions outside the Serbian government;

Marija Jevđić, Vice President of United Serbia, was elected Vice President of the National Assembly. SPS Vice President Zarko Obradovic was elected Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Ljubinko Rakonjac, Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee.

As they stated, the SPS-JS list also received eight vice-presidents of parliamentary committees.

Danas sources affirm that Dacic’s decision to have Toncev and Ruzic as ministers is correct and that in this way he assured peace in the party in the foreseeable future and avoided criticism from party colleagues for the fact that the socialists they dropped from five to just two departments.

When asked if there are disagreements about personal solutions and if they are waiting until the last moment to make their names known, SPS interlocutors say there are no disagreements. “For there to be disagreements and even controversies, we would have to know the names of the future candidates for minister.” Thus, as we do not know who will represent us in the Government, we cannot even argue, “they say in the SPS.

The head of the composition of the Serbian Government and member of the Serbian Progressive Party presidency, Ana Brnabić, said on Sunday that the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be Nikola Selaković, the Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin and the Minister of Defense Nebojsa Stefanović.

Gordana Comic will be the head of the new Ministry of Human Rights, Gender Equality and Social Dialogue, Ratko Dmitrovic will be the head of the Ministry of Family Care and Demography, and Milan Krkobabic will be the Minister of People’s Care.

The Ministry of Culture and Information will be headed by Maja Gojković, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs of Darija Kisić Tepavčević.

The Ministry of Commerce, Tourism and Telecommunications will be headed by Tatjana Matic, construction and infrastructure by Tomislav Momirovic, financing by Sinisa Mali and the economy by Andjelka Atanaskovic, while the Ministry of Agriculture will be headed by Branislav Nedimovic, and the Ministry of Energy and Mining by Zorana Mihajlovic.

The protection of the environment will be in charge of Irena Vujović, the Ministry of Justice will be in charge of Maja Popović, the Ministry of State Administration and Local Autonomy Marija Obradović, the Ministry of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović, Zlatibor Lončar Health, Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic, while education will belong to the Socialist Party of Serbia.
