The coordinator of the temporary hospital at the Belgrade Fair, Veljko Milić, declared today that 53 patients will be discharged during the day because they had a negative test for the coronavirus, and crisis personnel will decide on the future fate of that hospital tomorrow.
Milic told RTS that the other 20 patients at the hospital at the Belgrade Fair will be evaluated according to the dynamics established by epidemiological rules.
There are currently 72 patients in the temporary hospital for the treatment of patients with covid-19, of whom 56 were examined yesterday, and 53 had a negative test and will be discharged home during the day.
“We were also surprised by the news that the Fair will close on Saturday, which is certainly not true. We still do not know what will happen to the Fair. We are working at full capacity as before, we have commitment plans for the whole week and we will act on according to the staff’s decision, “said Milić.
According to him, the Fair is held in three shifts of eight hours each, there are two intermediate shifts and the entire team enters at four o’clock.
“About 20 doctors and 30 technicians work. Almost 500 health workers passed through the Fair, and fortunately none of them were infected and left the Fair because of it,” said Lt. Col. Milić.
