To date, 400 users and 299 employees have been infected in social protection institutions for the accommodation of users and homes for the accommodation of adults and the elderly, announced the Ministry of Labor.
The total number of cured users of social protection institutions is 4,920, and the number of cured that are employed in social protection institutions is 2,063, it is indicated in the announcement.
By the way, prof. Crisis staff member Dr. Branislav Tiodorović told Kurir that he was against easing the measures because the number of first examinations at kovid clinics is growing.
Concessions should occur when we have a triple-digit number of infected people per day, he said.
– The number of first examinations is growing slightly in both kovid dispensaries and new kovid hospitals. This also means that the number of people who have a pronounced clinical picture is growing slightly, as soon as they had to report, they are not asymptomatic cases. The daily balance shows a large number of positives in relation to the number of analyzed. That varies from day to day, but 16 to 25 percent of those infected are infected, sometimes even a third, says prof. Tiodorović.
His colleague, immunologist Srdja Jankovic, says that it is difficult to estimate when the virus will be defeated, because it depends on many factors, but mainly on ourselves.
– Vaccination is an important factor, perhaps the most important for the victory of the virus, but no one can expect it to stop the epidemic overnight. With all epidemiological measures in place, vaccination will help achieve improvements that have not yet occurred. At the moment, we have more favorable numbers, but they are still high and any predictions are difficult, said Dr. Janković.
