Today 1,543 newly infected, 17 patients died

In the last 24 hours, 9,576 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 1,543 were recently infected.

Unfortunately, 17 patients died. There are currently 153 patients on ventilators across the country.

We remind you that yesterday we had 1,717 positives out of 11,160 analyzed, 18 people died and 158 patients with respirators.

Mass immunization

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced this morning that at the end of February and March we will receive almost a million more vaccines in various phases.

According to the latest data from the Government of Serbia, so far 437,380 citizens have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in Serbia.

Serbia is the second in Europe in number of vaccinated per million inhabitants, after Great Britain.

According to the total number of vaccinated, Serbia ranks second in the region, after Romania.
