This was said by Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic at an extraordinary press conference, adding that Marovic’s new extradition request was sent with the aim, he said, of creating better relations with Serbia.

The government believes, he said, that the request for the extradition of a man who is the personification of the crime is justified.

“It is justified and extremely compromising for Marović, who admitted that he is at the head of a criminal group, to walk freely in another country and his son carry out commercial activities,” Abazović said, Vijesti from Podgorica reported.

Justice, Human and Minority Rights Minister Vladimir Leposavic said the request was sent by DHL before the press conference.

He recalled that the previous government had already sent a request once. “After that request, the previous authorities sent two emergencies. Now we have the application submitted a second time. It is not in the practice of international relations that the request is repeated every year, but also that the neighboring state does not officially respond to the request. So far it has not happened for reasons that we cannot know, we are repeating this request, “said Leposavic.
