The director of the Infectious Disease Clinic “Dr. Fran Mihaljevic” Alemka Markotic said this, adding that the test should not take more than 24 hours.

“Those who want to enter Croatia will have to take a PSR test in their country, which should not take more than 24 hours. Only with this certificate will they be able to enter the country. This is safe. The test is highly reliable, but it is not 100 percent safe, so we have to be careful, “Markotic told the HRT newspaper.

The same was confirmed by the director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health Krunoslav Capak in his guest appearance on Dnevnik Nova TV.

“We came a long time ago as those who come have to isolate themselves for 14 days. But it turned out that those who work in the border area ask to break the self-isolation, and we practiced for a while. But it turned out to be complicated.” Well, we have introduced that they can come in 72 hours. Just over 2,000 people entered Croatia during the extended weekend. Now everyone will have to confirm that they have passed the virus test and only through such confirmation will they be able to enter Croatia, “Capak said.

Croatian Health Minister Vili Beros previously said that people who entered Croatia during the extended weekend made contacts and thus contributed to the spread of the infection.
