Epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorović said that the epidemiological situation in Serbia is unfavorable and that it is catastrophic in Belgrade.

He told Pink TV newspaper that this is also indicated by the fact that the Nis hospitals, the Chair Hall, the Sokobanja and Niska Banja hospitals, are full of patients from Belgrade who were accepted because capacities in the capital are overloaded.

“The whole country is in a situation where it has to go through this difficult week and make sure that no patient leaves the hospital and is placed where he belongs,” Tiodorović said.

He added that at today’s session of the Crisis Staff for Suppressing the Spread of Corona Virus Infection, measures were also discussed during the upcoming holidays, when Serbian citizens working abroad will come to the country.

According to him, it is being considered what measures should be introduced, but care is being taken that everything is in accordance with the law.
