– We had a long and constructive discussion in the Crisis Staff session, people’s lives and health are the most important thing and that is why we must do everything possible to preserve them. We are in favor of a radical tightening of the measures, but that must be harmonized with the legal regulations and the Constitution of our country, and above all it is about the entry of our citizens into Serbia with a negative PCR test – said the epidemiologist.
– The Government of Serbia will announce concrete measures after consulting with legal experts. The medical portion of the crisis headquarters is intended to shorten the working hours of all facilities. But that does not mean that we want the introduction of curfew – says Tiodorović.
Prof. Tiodorovic declined to discuss other measures until all legal experts have been consulted.
The Crisis Staff met urgently, among other things, because a large influx of our citizens from abroad is expected on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays. We remind you that before Easter in April, up to 400,000 of our citizens came to Serbia from abroad.
