We will not tolerate even the slightest violation of the measures in schools, said Education Minister Mladen Šarčević, regarding the accusation that high school students do not wear masks.

He said that students should be responsible, teachers even more and principals more, because they have the greatest responsibility.
Šarčević claimed that he had already replaced three principals in the first three days of classes, in Belgrade, Pancevo and Niš, and that indirectly his dismissal had to do with non-compliance with the measures, but that was not the only reason, reports Blic.
Šarčević said that he himself received images every day showing students, even teachers without masks, and warned that he would react to any such case.
The minister pointed out that meetings of rectors were held in many school administrations yesterday, and that they will be held in others on Monday, when the intensified supervision of the educational inspection will begin.
“Education is a big system, and if one percent of the teachers would relax and violate the measures, it would be 1,300 teachers. If one percent of the students did that, we would have 8,500 undisciplined, which is a great epidemiological risk. Sarcevic said.
He emphasized that he will use all legal possibilities to not allow that and that he does not want the shadow to fall on the great majority that conscientiously do their work due to the irresponsible minority.
