Tonight, from midnight to 6 pm, some 10,000 citizens who were staying in Montenegro returned to Serbia through the Gostun border crossing.

That is, according to information from the Border Police, around 3,300 cars crossed this crossing.

By the way, there are still kilometer-long columns of cars in Gostun, reports “Novosti”.

At this border crossing, there is a wait of about an hour to enter Serbia, while the same number waits for departure from Montenegro.

As the time approached, when the sanitary surveillance measure of citizens returning to the country began to be applied, the column at the Gostun border crossing was expanded, the RTS reporter reported.

Let us remind you, at the Jabuka border crossing with Montenegro, at the entrance to our country, since this morning there have been large crowds made by those who heard the call of the Crisis Staff to return to the country from other countries until 6:00 p.m. today.

According to the media, dozens of vehicles are waiting in columns to enter Serbia, and today the largest crowds are expected at the border crossing in the period from 16:00 to 18:00, when the new protective epidemiological measure will begin to be applied.

The decision of the Government of Serbia at the proposal of the Crisis Staff is that starting today at 6:00 p.m., health surveillance will be applied in the next 10 days to citizens returning from vacation from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation, including Montenegro.

According to the latest data, there are currently more than 70,000 Serbs in Montenegro, most of whom decided to return after the call from crisis personnel.
