BELGRADE – Today Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić attends the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the intermodal terminal in Batajnica.

He said that this year will be remembered for the crown, but also for the connection here in Serbia, which is the basis of the market economy in the EU. He also emphasized that today Serbia is one of the largest beneficiaries of EU subsidies: non-reimbursable investments, and highlighted that logistics costs in the EU are 10 to 12 percent and in Serbia up to 20, which remains at the expense of the environment.
Minister Jadranka Joksimović addressed the gathering and emphasized that it will probably be the largest logistics center in this part of Europe.
