The latest government decree on measures for the prevention and suppression of the infectious disease kovid-19 was published yesterday in the Official Gazette of Serbia, listing in detail the new measures that will come into effect on Sunday.
The latest Decree, which was adopted yesterday in the session of the Government of Serbia, explains in detail the new measure related to the PCR test and entry into Serbia, and is also new that children over four years of age are required to wear protective masks.
ENTRY INTO SERBIA
Article 4 explains in detail the decision of the Government of Serbia related to the entry of foreign citizens, but also of our people living abroad.
“Foreigners can only enter the Republic of Serbia if they have a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, no longer than 48 hours, issued by the reference laboratory of the country where they come from or They enter the Republic of Serbia. They should not be tested before travel, or upon arrival in the Republic of Serbia. I cannot enter Serbia if they have not been tested and do not have a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of the virus of SARS-CoV-2, they do not have more than 48 hours and must return to the country If there is a delay in entry to the Republic of Serbia, which cannot be attributed to the fault of the passenger, but is the consequence of an external event that could not have been foreseen, avoided or eliminated (flight delay, departure of buses, trains, etc.), then the test cannot have more than 72 hours when entering the Republic of Serbia.
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia and foreign citizens who have obtained temporary residence or permanent residence in Serbia, as well as members of diplomatic and consular staff and their families, upon entering the Republic of Serbia, who do not have proof of RT -PCR negative for SARS-CoV -2, issued by the reference laboratory of the country where they come from, that is, entering Serbia, no more than 48 hours from the date of issuance of the results, the quarantine measure in the domicile is determined for a period of 10 days.
The measure referred to in section 2 of this article will cease to be valid if the person to whom it is assigned during the period of the measure receives a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus emitted. by the reference laboratory “, the Regulation reads.
As established in Article 5 of this Decree, at the entrance to Serbia, in visible places at border crossings to meet all people crossing the state border, a written notice is posted – a health warning about the measures to continue to prevent the occurrence, spread and control of COVID-19 infectious diseases caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and other written notifications in the form of a health warning can be sent during passport control.
CHILDREN OVER 4 YEARS OLD ARE REQUIRED TO USE MASKS
Article 6 lists the well-known rules about where the mask is mandatory, but also adds something that has not been talked about in public.
“Parents of minor children or children with special needs, that is, their guardians, are obliged to ensure that children over 4 years of age wear a protective mask in the cases mentioned in paragraphs 1 to 3 of this article (in indoors and outdoors when it is not possible to provide a distance greater than two meters).
DISCHARGE FROM HOSPITAL WITHOUT TEST OF CONTROL
Article 2 defines hospital treatment, home isolation, but also protocols for leaving the hospital, so it is established that a control test in the crown is not necessary for the patient to abandon hospital treatment.
As indicated, people who have been tested for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and who have not been diagnosed with any symptoms or signs of the infectious disease COVID-19, are sent, in accordance with the Protection Act of the Population Against Infectious Diseases isolation with health surveillance for 14 days, after which they report to the primary care doctor (COVID clinic) at the health center.
People suffering from this infectious disease in whom the severity of the disease does not require treatment in the hospital, during the period of contagion, after an examination by a specialist, they are sent to home isolation under the medical supervision of a doctor primary care (COVID clinic), and if necessary COVID hospital triage center.
People suffering from the infectious disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, after isolation and treatment in accordance with paragraph 1 of this article, are discharged for home treatment without RT-PCR test control and they are obliged to remain after discharge. under medical supervision for acute respiratory illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus for 14 days (home isolation), after which the primary care physician (COVID clinic) of the health center is reported.
This Decree will enter into force on the day following its publication in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, except as provided in article 4, which will apply from December 20, 2020 to January 10, 2021. 5, in the part related to home quarantine control, it may be applied until January 19, 2021.
