The crisis staff session will take place today at 11 a.m., just one day after the darkest figures were recorded since the beginning of the corona virus epidemic in Serbia.
It turns out that the main topic could be the working hours of cafes and clubs. A stricter measure, when it comes to catering facilities, would be the total closure, which is also opposed by the leaders of the city of Belgrade, while a softer and safer variant is to shorten their working hours to 20 or 21 hours.
Yesterday, the Mayor of Belgrade, Dr. Zoran Radojicic, emphasized that it was time for new measures.
– It is time to strengthen the controls and strengthen the measures, I think now is the time to introduce new measures, to set them in a certain period, to monitor the results and adjust to that – said Mayor Radojicic.
He added that he hopes responsible measures will be taken at the Krza headquarters session, and reiterated that the city of Belgrade is ready to implement the measures that have been taken as before.
By the way, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will address the public today at 10.15 am from the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic.
