The rally driver Mladen Ćebić (31) was allegedly arrested in the Spanish city of Malaga on suspicion of drug and arms trafficking, writes the Montenegrin portal Borba, which put this Baranin in contact with the Kavač clan. According to them, a man with connections to the Kavač clan was arrested in Malaga and, in addition to him, a citizen of Serbia was also arrested.

Arrest 2018

– Near them were weapons and encrypted telephones, which they used for mutual communication. They appear to be closely related to the Kavač clan, Borba writes.

It should be remembered that Mladen Ćebić was also arrested in Čačak in 2018, and was later connected to the car mafia, drug and arms trafficking. A search of his apartment found nothing, but the rally driver, a native of Bar, was handed over to Montenegro for that, and he emphatically denied these accusations in the media.

– Now they are questioning me through the Podgorica prosecutor’s office about the theft of a car in Serbia, with which I have nothing to do. I also responded to the call from the prosecution and told them everything I had. I am pure as a tear and I want to end the manipulation of my name in a negative context in any medium – Cebic said at the time and emphasized that it was targeted by the Serbian police and media, although it has nothing to do with it.

They issued a fake death certificate

After Mladen’s mysterious “disappearance” in August 2016, a death certificate appeared on Facebook, in which they wrote the date and time of the rally driver’s funeral. He immediately contacted the media and denied it, emphasizing that he was alive and well and that he was at the Trumpet Festival in Guca.

– I don’t know who wants to hurt me like that. Every day I receive messages about what it is about and what is happening and calls from various people with questions – Ćebić said.

Cebic’s name was first heard in public when, in August 2016, his father told the media that his son had disappeared near Sutomore. That is, he told Kurir that he heard from his son in the morning, but then they lost contact.

– We were supposed to talk at night, but his phone is not available all the time. I don’t know what might have happened because we don’t live together – said Živorad Ćebić, who started an organized search at that time.

He apologized

A few hours later, Mladen Ćebić contacted our list and explained what had happened.

– I’m alive and well, people. I am in Belgrade. Publicly apologize on my behalf to your people in Montenegro and Serbia! I apologize to everyone who thought I was lost. I apologize publicly through the media. My phones were turned off because I don’t have an account – wrote Ćebić.

Mladen Ćebić was also mentioned last year, when an unknown person threw a bomb at the home of the head of the UICS escort service, Sasa Burić. He was put in relation to this incident, but then contacted the Montenegrin media and explained that he had not been in Montenegro for a month and a half, since he was released from pre-trial detention in Spuž. Cebic also noted that it was not in conflict with Buric.
