BELGRADE – Most of the citizens of Belgrade think that returning the mandatory deadline is a good idea, because they believe that it contributes to a greater stability of the country, but also to the learning of young people in the discipline.
In Tanjug’s poll, when asked if they were required to return to regular military service in Serbia, as an idea to be discussed in detail, an older gentleman said that it was a great idea and that compulsory military service should be returned, if not for two years. , at least 18 months and that will teach the young the correct values.
Another fellow citizen when we meet in Knez Mihailova says that it is in principle for the realization of such an idea, but that it largely depends on how long that military obligation lasts. He believes that it is better if military service does not last more than three months. The younger says he is against such an idea, but does not explain why, while the other, as he says, is absolutely in favor of returning to military service.
For a citizen of Belgrade, such an idea is fine, but for him the question is how much it will cost financially. “I am in favor of returning to military service. We have children, we have young people, why not, it is very important how much it will cost us,” he explains.
The other two gentlemen say that they are also in favor of returning to military service, and that they have experience with that, and that it would be good if the young people lived it too.
A younger fellow citizen we met on a walk with a girl said that he did not support such an idea, but did not have time to think and explain his position, while another who was in a hurry to return to work, when he heard the question, he returned and He said: yes, he added that he said it all in his answer. In the end, a married couple listened to the question with enthusiasm and unanimously said that they were in favor of returning to compulsory military service in Serbia.
