The Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs, Zoran Djordjevic, spoke today with the authorities of the Zrenjanin Center for Social Work, who took care of the girl who was present when the tragedy occurred in her family and pointed out that it was necessary for her. take care of it in the most appropriate way as soon as possible.
Namely, SM is suspected of killing her husband yesterday in the presence of their five-year-old daughter in Zrenjanin.
During the conversation with the authorities today, Djordjevic said that immediately after learning of this fact, he ordered the Social Work Center to appoint a psychologist who will try to alleviate the consequences that the tragedy can leave on the girl.
Currently, the most important thing is to give this child all the appropriate attention and provide guardians who take care of him as soon as possible. It is very important to protect every child from anything that could endanger a carefree childhood, which is the duty of the State. and we must all try together to get the necessary help and support, “said Djordjevic.
According to the minister, a guardian for the child will be appointed in the next period and the Center for Social Work will provide psychological support.
After visiting the Social Work Center, Djordjevic visited the girl who is currently with relatives with whom he talked about her current state.
The minister sent a special appeal to the media not to publish information, especially those that are not based on facts, and that could have even greater consequences on the child in some future period, the ministry said in a statement.
