At the “Morava” military airport in Lađevci, on a successful control flight, Minister Ana Perišić was one of the first to congratulate Captain Ana Perišić after landing, and then her colleagues from the 241 Aviation Squadron of Fighter-Bombers of the 98th Air Brigade.
– I am glad that it is so and it is a space for the new young generations of young women of our country who can find their careers in fighter aviation, as well as careers in the more complex forms and units of the Serbian Army – said Minister Stefanovic , adding that he is grateful to Ana because of the opportunity to see a very successful pilot today, for which the elders and experts considered that he had had a very successful flight, after which he can now also perform solo flights.

Minister Stefanović also emphasized that today he had the opportunity to visit the 98th Air Brigade, a unit that can be said to be the guardian of our sky.

– This is not an easy job, it is a job in which the pilots and all those who serve the system participate, not forgetting all the technicians and people who help the pilots in aircraft training and in daily activities, in which they have to go through countless hours of training to be able to manage complex systems and be what they are, someone who defends our country and who is ready at any moment to take off and fight for Serbia, Minister Stefanović emphasized.

He also expressed satisfaction at having the opportunity to see the Mi-35 helicopters that our army acquired, as well as the “Eagle” type aircraft.

– The flight was safe and I am satisfied with how I managed to do it. The challenge itself is to fly alone on that plane after the control flight, said Captain Ana Perišić, who belongs to the first generation of female pilots who studied at the Military Academy for that vocation.
