PANČEVO – The news of the terrible tragedy – murder and suicide – resounded in Pančevo. Milan Ž. (41) was found dead around 3 pm on Tuesday along with Maria S. (31) in a golf car.
After the brief information that it was about Marija S., a resident of Pancevo, not much was known about the woman, but also about the man who is suspected of first committing a crime and then deciding to end his life.
It should be remembered that gunshot wounds were found in both bodies in the head area, and a 7.65 mm caliber pistol was found in the car, with which, most likely, a crime was committed. The two are suspected of being in an emotional relationship.
It is a great tragedy because Maria is survived by two children: a teenage daughter and a one-year-old baby. Marija comes from a respectable family in Kacarevo, she worked in various places and also taught German in a primary school. She married and gave birth very young, she was not even eighteen years old, but that marriage did not last. However, as a young mother, with the support of her family, she was educated and employed.
The tragedy happened in Marija’s car, and the investigation will show what happened in it. Their bodies were sent for an autopsy, which should shed light on whether murder and suicide were involved, or whether there was a third person in this crime.
