Janjić Nišavić is suspected of dating D. As we learn, it is a contract for the provision of expert services for an amount of 2,000 euros per month, half of which the suspect would take. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the deputy ministers were promised that they would receive the money in the next two years, while the contract lasts.
CONDEMNATION OF THE MINISTER
– I know her superficially, from work, I see her once a month – said Nedimović. – She works here in the Ministry and so far has worked correctly. When asked if he was surprised that one of his associates was arrested, Nedimović said: – Nothing surprises me anymore. I condemn any kind of corruption.
According to unofficial information, the arrest occurred after DC Janjic paid the second installment agreed by Nisavic. The police also conducted searches, and the suspects were detained, after which they will be taken to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for questioning with a criminal report.
By the way, Daria Janjić Nišavić has worked in the Ministry for a long time, but she has been working in international cooperation for the past few years. The news that she was arrested surprised many in this institution.
– If someone did something against the law, they should be held accountable for it, no matter who it is – said the Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimović of “Novosti”. – We have zero tolerance for every corruption attempt, which is shown now, as well as when we pursued similar cases three years ago in agrarian payments.
