The news that the son ate his dead father for seven days in his family’s apartment in Glogonjski rit shocked Serbia.
Namely, the Belgrade police, after the tenants reported yesterday, found the dismembered corpse of a man in an apartment in Glogonjski rit near Belgrade.
As it was learned, the neighbors tried to contact the deceased for several days, because an unbearable stench was spreading through the building, which came from that apartment.
When the police entered the apartment, they found the deceased’s son, who was otherwise in hiding, in a state of neglect, and seemed, as they say, lost.
It was soon learned that the man had a mental illness, so since his father died, he had nothing to eat and survived by eating his father’s meat.
He was rushed to the Infectious Diseases Clinic, where all the necessary tests will be carried out.
The body of the deceased was sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine, where the exact cause of death will be determined.
