Milivoje L. (50), from Gradiška, a suspect in the murder of Strahinja Stojanović in Belgrade, is currently not in Gradiška and the police have no information about his movements, the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia confirmed. Belgrade police identified the killer thanks to a specific tattoo and scar.

“According to available data, he is not on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina at all,” said a well-informed source close to the police.

The Belgrade High Court issued an international arrest warrant for Milivoje L. and ordered his arrest, which will be taken into custody as soon as he is arrested. The Serbian Interior Ministry announced that he was identified as the perpetrator of the criminal act on the basis of the evidence gathered so far.

Although the investigative bodies of the Republika Srpska link him to various criminal acts, Milivoje L. has only one final verdict on his file.

The Gradiška Court of First Instance sentenced him to a fine of 2,000 convertible marks for inflicting bodily injury on Milan Vujičić, alias Vujka, in March 2014. He is a “ferocious guy” who was killed in Sačekuša in October 2015 when he received two shots.

The police questioned him about the murder, but he did not have the status of a suspect.

He was linked to other criminal acts, but was not charged with any of them. Operational data from the RS Interior Ministry indicates that Milivoj L.’s team often encountered various criminals in terms of logistics to commit crimes, but also their concealment, illegal transfer across the Sava to Croatia and the like.

The police are trying to determine whether, following the murder of Slaviša Ćulum in May this year, they provided assistance to the perpetrators of this crime, which is still under investigation and has not been fully clarified.

Milivoje came to Gradiška from Croatia and supposedly had a rich war experience. He was arrested in December 2019 after a video surfaced on social media of him walking the streets of Gradiška and shooting into the air with two pistols. After a court order was issued against him, I turned myself in to the police, but they soon released him.

A shrapnel scar on his leg and a distinctive tattoo on his arm helped police identify Milivoje, because on September 13, after leaving the apartment in Vracar, he rode an electric bicycle to a garage in New Belgrade and planted explosives. under the car.

He was dressed in typical cycling clothing so as not to attract attention. He even wore a bicycle helmet and cap to dress up.

– Seized the opportune moment and activated the infernal device with his mobile phone. Stojanović also suffered injuries to his internal organs, his lungs were damaged … – said the source.

The killer then made his way to the Sava, to Block 45.

– The suspect threw his bicycle into the Sava and changed his clothes. He put on his shorts and thus discovered the scar that the police officers later saw in the surveillance camera images. Among other clues, that was the key to identifying the suspect, says the source.

A photo of Milivoj L. with former Bosnia and Herzegovina Minister of Security Dragan Mektić appeared in public, who wrote on “Twitter” about it:

– If he is guilty, he will answer. I know the guy from the days of the war and while he was in the RS MUP. I’ve seen it two or three times since the war. I think the photo was taken in a cafe in Prnjavor, but thousands of people took photos with me. I know whose Banja Luka twist this is. But they will pay the bills. – wrote Meketić.
