Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs prof. Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević visited the Gerontology Center in Niš, where the vaccination of users who wanted to receive the coronavirus vaccine began today.

Minister Kisić Tepavčević said that today 100 users of that institution will be vaccinated, who volunteered, and that in the coming days, others who are interested in that institution will have the opportunity to be vaccinated.

Kisic Tepavcevic also stated that a detailed plan has been drawn up on how the vaccine will be distributed in all gerontological centers in Serbia.

Prof. Dr. Kisić Tepavčević, when asked how she felt after receiving the vaccine yesterday, said that there were no side effects and that there was mild pain at the application site, which is a characteristic of almost all vaccines.

Kisic Tepavcevic added that all the prescribed measures were taken in all the gerontological centers to prevent the spread of the epidemic, as well as that all the institutions for four weeks received the necessary amounts of antigen tests.

Earlier today, Minister Kisić Tepavčević also visited the Gerontology Center in Aleksinac, where the vaccination of interested users will also begin in the coming days.
