Everyone has heard of the Ravna Gora tavern where Tito and Draža met for the first and last time, but it is less known than two kilometers from it, hidden in the heights of Suvobor near the village of Brajići, there is a spring that people believe is healing, and even water has been declared sacred

Here, according to the locals, some were cured of tuberculosis and the visually impaired recovered and saw. However, today only a few people know how to reach this spring through the dense forest, and it can only be reached on foot.
– According to the stories of the elders, Milinko Pantović, who always drank that water, kept cattle in the meadow by the spring. He was sick with tuberculosis and suddenly he was completely cured, which the doctors understood to be a true miracle at the time, and he thought that only this water would cure him. Since then, people from the surrounding villages have come here with bottles and cans to fill with, drink or wash with water. This belief has been preserved to this day, when intentional travelers also come in search of health. Most people have it for New Years Eve when they say that water is the most healing. – Said by Rayo Petrović from Brajić.
From the sacred spring, called the water of Christ, 20 liters of water come out every minute, so this place is quite generous. He was often buried, but the water came back to the surface with its power.
That many people used to come here is also attested by the pile of coins at the bottom. Locals say that poor students once took that money, but then drowned in a sudden torrent. After the Second World War, this fountain was under the protection of the police, who were on duty at this place day and night.
– He was a security guard there the entire time, and one of the locals we all knew from his job was even sentenced to a year in prison. He conserved water, but many of his neighbors or relatives came to get it every day. As he knew them, he could not refuse them, so they poured this holy liquid and took it away, when the authorities found out, they arrested the guard and sentenced him. I remember the story that many recovered here, including a marriage with a daughter who had an accident and whose wounds did not heal at all. – said Zoran Danicic.
The holy spring near Brajići, however, is not the only one in the territory of Gornji Milanovac whose water is considered left-handed. There is also Sava water in Savinac, as well as springs in Brani and Gornja Crnuća, so it can be said that this part of Serbia may have exceptional potential for the development of spa tourism.
